Popular Ethereum NFT platform OpenSea has released a new toolkit for creators in line with its suite of Drops features. This latest phase in the Drops feature set gives creators a new level of control over their digital assets while also helping introduce more people into the NFT token economy.
Features Offered by Toolkit
The kit includes an asset template that allows creators to define the look, content, and formalized categories of each NFT minted on the platform. It also offers features like multi-stage minting phases, allowlist support and personalized artist profiles for their NFT releases. Furthermore, it provides streamlined processes for setting up crypto assets along with expanded functionalities such as smart contract deployment across supported EVM chains and per-piece configuration for drop mechanics (tiering capabilities).
Customizable Landing Pages & Royalties
OpenSea has experimented with customizable landing pages including videos, image galleries, utility or allocation details and project roadmaps (when applicable). Additionally, the platform enforces royalties for assets created through its platform.
OpenSea notes that it will be rolling out these features to „select creators […] in the coming weeks“ before a public alpha release is available.
